Julien Giraud Telonius was born in 1973 in Fontenay-Sous-Bois in France. He began to travel very early with his family, they will live for several years in the Pyrénées Orientales, Tahiti and Los Angeles.

He soon discovers the pleasure of drawing with the complicity of his father Jean Giraud, Moebius, comic book artist. In addition to his profession of graphic designer, Julien will continue to paint and travel: crossing the Mexico, Thailand and Senegal, he established close ties with Black Africa. With the group of artists Avatara, he went to Romania for a cultural exchange at the end of which a painting exhibition is held in the cultural centre of BACAU; It coincides with the rich period after Ceausescu.

After training in color and oil painting techniques at the Academy des Beaux-Arts de Braine-l’Alleud (Belgium), Julien now lives and works in Boitsfort, Brussels.
